When you go to the doctor, it’s often the case that he “prescribes” you some medicine. What’s interesting is how many people think they are “doctors of life” and are more than happy to prescribe to you an appropriate course of action.
Now don’t get me wrong, taking input/feedback from others is one of the best ways to learn, grow, and live better. However, just because they’re prescribing doesn’t mean that I’m subscribing!
There are a thousand different ways to get to just about any destination. And while others may THINK they know the best prescription for you, the reality is you are often your own best doctor when it comes to the best path to follow.
Conversely, while you may find a certain path works wonderfully for you, you may want to rethink things prior to prescribing said path to others. Like the doctor you should always make sure that you “do no harm” when you decide to offer counsel on the path.
With that in mind:
- Are you healthy enough to prescribe medicine to others?
As always, thanks for the time.
