It’s easy to get locked in to the “just one more” syndrome. Just one more bite, just one more ride, just one more dollar. However, at a certain point in time you come to a question:
- Do I really need more or do I just want more?
That’s a tough question to answer as it often causes you to (i) re-evaluate what you have been doing and (ii) realize that maybe it hasn’t actually been doing the right thing. Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not exactly fond of coming to the conclusion I have been wrong the entire time!
Yesterday I heard someone share a great insight which I’ll try and convey here:
- If you are reading this the you are alive. That won’t always be the case. With that in mind, do you want to continue to do what you are currently doing or is there something else that you should be doing?
That’s pretty powerful stuff in my book.
With that in mind:
- Do you really need more?
As always, thanks for the time.
